Handmade Soaps (Hot Processed)

Our handmade soaps are made with some of the best skin-loving ingredients that gently cleanses your skin while keeping it from drying out. Our soaps are lye-based meaning we use Sodium Hydroxide (alkali) to make our hot process soaps. You cannot make "real" soap without lye. After lye goes through a process of saponification (lye solution (lye mixed with a liquid) and oils/butters mixed), it turns into soap. Lye physically does not remain in the final product (soap), but glycerin is created from this process. We have balanced the recipe that allows us to use various ingredients. We use the list of ingredients (in no particular order) in our soaps. Cocoa Butter, Olive Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Palm Oil, Safflower Oil, Castor Oil, Mango Butter, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Honey, and Sunflower Oil.

Additives
We, of course love to enhance our soaps (cold process and liquid) with additives such as ground oatmeal (gluten-free), kaolin clay, sea salt, herbs, aloe vera juice, fruits, vegetables, glycerin, honey, milk, or milk powders such as coconut, goat milk, yogurt or yogurt powder. Any of these additives will be added to every batch of soap. We use these ingredients interchangeably depending on what we have on hand. We have however, balanced our recipes to ensure each bar is equal to or close to our original recipe based on these additives. That way, no matter which combination we use, you will always enjoy the soap you have grown to love.
*Many of our soaps contain Palm and Coconut Oil. If you cannot use soaps with these ingredients, we can create a custom soap for you with the ingredients you love. Please complete our custom order form and let us create a soap just for you! Click here. **We will also mention in the listing if a soap has nut oils due to some having nut allergies. ***This list can change without notice.** ****Anything outside of this list would be included in the product description.***
